Critics Choice Awards Spread The Love Around, Name 'Argo' Best Picture – On the heels of this morning's surprising and not-so-surprising Oscar nominations, the Broadcast Film Critics Association handed their Critics Choice Awards to a rather familiar bunch as Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, and Skyfall nabbed multiple major honors. BAFTA – This morning in London, actors Alice Eve and Jeremy Irvine announced the nominations for the 65th EE BAFTA Film Awards. The ceremony will be held on February 10 and hosted by Stephen Fry. 'Argo,' 'Lincoln' and 'Zero Dark Thirty' Lead Alliance of Women Film Journalists' Award Noms – The Alliance of Women Film Journalists have announced their annual award nominations in a variety of categories -- including numerous ones specific to female filmmakers. "Argo," "Lincoln" and "Zero Dark Thirty" were the nominees in the best film category, while Sarah Polley ("Take This Waltz"), Andrea Arnold ("Wuthering Heights") and Kathryn Bigelow ("Zero Dark Thirty") were nominated for best female director.

Lincoln – After sitting idly by and watching films like "Zero Dark Thirty" and "Argo" reap most of the critics' Best Picture awards, Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" finally has one of its own, from the Dallas-Ft. Worth Film Critics Association.
