Toronto: Magnet Attaches To Hockey Comedy 'Goon'

deadline.com – The Cuban/Wagner Company’s Magnet Releasing, genre arm to Magnolia Pictures, announced today that they have taken US rights to Michael Dowse’s raucous hockey comedy GOON. Starring Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel, Liev Schreiber and Alison Pill, GOON was written by Baruchel with Superbad and Pineapple Express scribe Evan Goldberg.
