Dan Aykroyd Now Says 'Ghostbusters 3’ Will Shoot Next Spring

WhenDan Aykroydshowed up on “The Today Show” this week to discuss his new film “Get On Up,” talk of course eventually turned to the "Ghostbusters" series, and in particular "Ghostbusters 3." Never one to miss a moment to ensure everyone that the movie is happening (remember when he predicted two more movies?) or talk about plot details, he now says the paranormal franchise sequel would shoot next year.

Dan Aykroyd is never ever giving up on Ghostbusters 3. Though the project suffered yet another big setback earlier this year when Ivan Reitman decided not to direct, Aykroyd is nevertheless optimistic that the sequel will be ready to shoot by next spring.
