Zoe Saldana Expects Nina Simone Movie To Be Ready For Cannes 2015

Zoe Saldana now has three franchises to her name: Avatar, Star Trek and Guardians of the Galaxy. Her passion project has been a biography of musician Nina Simone, and she’s wrapped filming on the movie Nina. She expects it to be ready for next year’s Cannes Film Festival. “We’re working on it and hopefully by Cannes of next year we’ll be walking down that red carpet with Nina,” Saldana said at a press conference for her animated film The Book of Life.

Rocket Protects Star-Lord in New 'Guardians of the Galaxy' International Poster In just over one month, Marvel fans will get to experience the Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters for the first time. To get everyone ready for this highly-anticipated theatrical event, Marvel Studios has released a new international poster, featuring Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel). Then there's Zoe Saldana loooking distinctly mischievous as the green-skinned Gamora, while Dave Bautista practices the standard facing-away-from-the-camera-peeking-over-the-shoulder poster pose.
