According to TheWrap, Javier Bardem is in "early talks" to play one of the bad guys in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. He would play Captain Brand, a ghost who holds a grudge against Jack Sparrow for the murder of his brother and is looking for a supernatural object to help him get his revenge.
