Zac Efron Is Apparently Up For An Unspecified MARVEL Role – The latest scoop from the Latino Review boys regards Neighbors star, Zac Effron. It seems that the R rated comedy's performance at the box office (beating The Amazing Spider-Man 2 pretty soundly) has caused Marvel/Disney to take notice, and the site report that Efron is being "looked at for unspecified role in an upcoming Marvel Studios project." Zac Efron has come on board to star and produce the big screen adaptation of John Grisham's The Associate, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shia LaBeouf was originally attached to star. Efron will produce along with Doug Wick, Lucy Fisher, Michael Simkin and Nicki Cortese. The project is not currently set up at any studio, but the plan is to find a writer first before shopping it to them.
