James Cameron Thinks "It's A Certainty" That AVATAR Will Overtake AVENGERS: ENDGAME's Box Office Record With a sequel due out in 2021, Avatar director James Cameron said that a re-release is "under discussion" with Disney, which could lead to the film reclaiming its box office record from Avengers: Endgame.

Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek Movie Recruits The Revenant Sceenwriter Quentin Tarantino’s proposed Star Trek movie is taking another unlikely step toward reality, as the film has now enlisted The Revenant screenwriter Mark L. Smith to write a script based on Tarantino’s idea. Tarantino has long been a vocal Star Trek fan, but the film world was caught off guard when it was learned the Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill auteur had actually pitched an R-rated  film to Paramount, and that the studio was eager to make the film, with J.J. Abrams producing.

Patrick Stewart Wants in On Quentin Tarantino's 'Star Trek' Quentin Tarantino is not only developing a Star Trek movie with J.J. Abrams, but he’s convinced Paramount to let him make an R-rated feature. And if Paramount can get behind that wacky insanity, then who knows what other zany tricks are up Tarantino’s sleeve — all of which is to say that maybe we shouldn’t be surprised every time there’s a new story about this movie.
