According to the Los Angeles Times, pre-release tracking for “The Dark Knight Rises” is higher than “The Avengers,” “The Hunger Games,” and the final “Harry Potter” film. Based on tracking, it’s expected to do $180M for the weekend.

I was checking my Twitter feed and found out from Roger Ebert’s tweet that the review embargo on Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises” ended on midnight Sunday: “Studio sets ‘Dark Knight’ review embargo for midnight Sunday. They don't screen it in Chicago until 1 pm Tuesday. How does that work?”

Christopher Nolan’s concluding film in the Batman franchise “The Dark Knight Rises” opens next Friday worldwide. I’m surprised that there’s still not a single review on Rotten Tomatoes. By this time before their opening, “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “Marvel’s The Avengers” were already filled with dozens of reviews.

Sony’s “The Amazing Spider-Man,” a reboot of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man franchise starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, made its debut on Rotten Tomatoes with a superheroic 89% on the Tomatometer. There are only nine reviews so far, and only one of them is Rotten.

New international X-Men: First Class trailer is the best we've seen so far – As a big "X-Men" fan, I haven't been wowed at all with anything I've seen from X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. There are, at times, I forget that it even exists. It's not that it looks bad necessarily, it's just completely forgettable.
