As expected, the superhero news is starting to fly (ha!) out of Comic-Con, and some of the earliest comes from Zack Snyder, who tweeted the first official image of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice just as Warner Bros. was unveiling a brief teaser showing Batman (Ben Affleck) engaging in a long-distance staring contest with Superman (Henry Cavill).

'Godzilla' Sequel Will Have More Monsters

With Gareth Edwards tied up working on one of the pending Star Wars spinoffs, there's no telling when Legendary will be able to get him back on the lot for a Godzilla sequel -- but as the studio revealed during its Comic-Con panel, they're keeping Edwards in the fold for a follow-up. Appearing in a videotaped message during the panel, Edwards thanked everyone who turned out to see Godzilla earlier this year and added, "It means we get to make another one.

Daniel Radcliffe's Frankenstein Movie Isn't A Horror Film At All?

Daniel Radcliffe was at San Diego Comic-Con presenting his new film Horns, in which he plays a murder suspect who grows horns, out this Halloween. Opening next October, Radcliffe plays Igor to James McAvoy's Victor Frankenstein in a film written by Max Landis and directed by Paul McGuigan. At the Horns press conference, Radcliffe revealed that his Frankenstein movie may not be a horror film at all.

In today's penny-pinching Hollywood, few things are ever left to chance, and Marvel leaves fewer than most. It should surprise no one, then, that even though Guardians of the Galaxy hasn't even arrived in theaters yet, the studio's already making plans for a sequel -- and given the impressively robust early critical reaction to the movie, it also comes as no surprise that they're bringing back pretty much every member of the original team.

'Pirates of the Caribbean 5' Sailing in 2017

It had to navigate some awfully stormy seas to get here, including reported script problems that bumped it off Disney's schedule and away from its original summer 2015 release date, but Pirates of the Caribbean 5 is finally in the dock, and with new directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg at the helm, it's now scheduled to set sail on July 7, 2017.
