This looks like a movie for serious spy thriller aficionados; any mentions to the Cold War and Intelligence Agency wrong-doings will probably fly over my head. I may have to read the book to understand the reference to the title "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" because it may be too hard to compact a good story from a 400 page book without explanations of the politics and background story. The tone of the movie is sophisticated and the actors seemed too intense.   More »

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is the long-awaited feature film version of John le Carré’s classic bestselling novel. The thriller is directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In). The screenplay adaptation is by the writing team of Bridget O’Connor & Peter Straughan.
