“London Fields” has been removed from the lineup at the Toronto International Film Festival due to a lawsuit director Matthew Cullen filed against the producers earlier this week.
The decision comes a day before the film starring Theo James, Amber Heard, Cara Delevingne, aimie Alexander, Billy Bob Thornton and Jason Isaacs was set to premiere.
“We have recently learned of a legal matter that has arisen between the director and the producers of the film ‘London Fields,” a festival spokesperson said in a statement to the media.

The Underworld franchise has seen its ups and downs since Len Wiseman and Kevin Grevioux debuted the first film over 10 years ago in 2003. The initial success of Underworld prompted a sequel, a prequel, and a soft reboot that further explored the mythos of Underworld’s vampire/lycan (werewolf) conflict.
