James DeMonaco Will Return for Third 'Purge'

When a movie is made for $9 million but manages to pull in over $100 million at the global box office, you know the sequel coming. So, as expected, the people who've brought us The Purge and The Purge: Anarchy are working on a third Purge movie, Deadline has learned. James DeMonaco, who wrote and directed the first two movies, will return to write, and may direct, the third.

RT on DVD & Blu-Ray: The Hangover Part III, The Purge, and More – This week on home video, we've got a lot of things to cover, including the latest Hangover film, a home invasion thriller starring Ethan Hawke, and a popular horror-themed TV show.
