In a gorgeous fixer upper in a Paris suburb, Marie-Ann (Bérénice Bejo) and Samir (Tahar Rahim) are starting over. She has two daughters, he has a young son and the condition of their house mid-move lends a visual to the phrase “blended family.” In an effort to set their life in order she’s asked her almost-ex-husband Ahmad (Ali Mossafa) to return from Tehran and finalize their divorce—and maybe she’ll find some time to rub his face in her “happiness.”

New Posters for THE ARMSTRONG LIE, THE INVISIBLE WOMAN, and THE PAST

Briefly: The Armstrong Lie – The new documentary from Oscar-winner Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side) looks at the rise and fall of cyclist of Lance Armstrong, but isn't a story about doping. According to Gibney's it's "about power".

Iran Enters 'The Past' For Foreign Language Oscar; Critics Say Film Not Iranian Enough

deadline.com – As expected, Asghar Farhadi‘s Le Passé (The Past) has been chosen by Iran to represent the country as this year’s Foreign Language Oscar submission. Farhadi won the Foreign Language Oscar in 2011 with A Separation, also representing Iran.
