Aaron Kwok Joins Chen Kaige's "The Monk"

Aaron Kwok, fresh off the success of The Monkey King, will join Wang Baoqiang (Lost in Thailand) in Chen Kaige’s martial arts epic The Monk. Adapted from a best-selling novel by Xu Haofeng, Wang will play a monk who re-enters society and discovers an extraordinary martial arts book coveted by other masters. Kwok will play a kung fu master, but I’m not sure if he’ll be one of those looking to steal the book.

Now that the Winter season in China have came and gone, it’s time for Spring, which means it’s time for yet another Donnie Yen movie (Yup, he has a movie for every season). Opening in April, The Iceman 3D is a remake of a minor 80s action-comedy that starred Yuen Biao.
