Bill Murray is Baloo In Jon Favreau’s ‘The Jungle Book’ – Jon Favreau just bagged a white whale while casting his Disney remake of The Jungle Book. Or, maybe more to the point, a great big bear. Bill Murray will provide the voice of Baloo, the second lead, in Favreau’s CG live action hybrid. He joins an already rich voice cast that includes Scarlett Johnasson, Idirs Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Christopher Walken and Ben Kingsley. 6 years 25 weeks ago via jetli

Neel Sethi
Disney's search for an actor to play Mowgli in its live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book is over. The part has gone to 10-year-old Neel Sethi, the studio has announced on Tuesday. The most surprising part in this is that Sethi will be the only actor onscreen, which I take it to mean that there won't be other humans in the movie. Idris Elba is already on board to voice the tiger Shere Khan, with Lupita Nyong'o as Rakcha, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, and Ben Kingsley as Bagheera.

Idris Elba
Idris Elba is the first to be cast in Disney's live-action The Jungle Book adaptation. He will be the voice of the tiger Shere Khan, the main villain in the movie. In Rudyard Kipling's collection of short stories, Khan tries to kill off the human boy Mowgli before he could become a threat to him, but Khan's attempts are foiled by the other jungle animals. As for Mowgli, Disney is look for a mixed race actor to play the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
