Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons
In my previous Chinese box office report, I wrote that Stephen Chow's "Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons" would get close, but not beat "Lost in Thailand" for the record of highest-grossing Chinese film of all time. Huayi Brothers, the company behind "Journey to the West," apparently agrees with me.

A very impactful one minute trailer, with just a simple introduction of the main character. It showed how well Meryl Streep captured Margarat Thatcher's persona, the battle she's up against as a woman, and how she dealt with her issues head-on like an "iron lady". The trailer showed how focus and serious the film will be, with just a tinge of humor. Absoluutelay malvelous.   More »

THE IRON LADY tells the compelling story of Margaret Thatcher, a woman who smashed through the barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male-dominated world. The story concerns power and the price that is paid for power, and is a surprising and intimate portrait of an extraordinary and complex woman.

Meryl Streep Gets Prime Ministerial In Full Trailer For 'The Iron Lady'

fb.indiewire.com – Of everything this Oscar season, the biggest question mark has been "The Iron Lady." While most of the films in play made festival bows months ago, or have started screening for long-lead press by now, Phyllida Lloyd's biopic of legendary British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, starring the equally legendary Meryl Streep, has been kept tightly under wraps, with only a brief teaser trailer showing how the film might turn out. 8 years 49 weeks ago via brucelee
