For those wishing for a Cliffhanger remake, France-based StudioCanal has heard your prayers. The studio and producer Neal Moritz have set the remake in motion by tapping Joe Gazzam to work on on the script, Deadline has learned. Apparently, this writing job is highly coveted (writers need all the work they can get, after all), and Gazzam was able to impress Moritz with his pitch.
