For a film about facing irrelevance, Grown Ups 2 isn't fighting for a place in the race. Lenny (writer/producer Adam Sandler) has happily transitioned to his hometown following the move at the end of Grown Ups. Chris Rock is a cable guy, Kevin James fixes cars, Rob Schneider is missing and David Spade is an aging lothario in a confusingly large house.

It's exquisitely appropriate that Monsters University is set in a school, because anyone who's had the misfortune of moving up through the grades after an exceptional sibling can understand the frustration the folks at Pixar must have felt every time they've released a new movie during the post-Toy Story 3 era.

With over a dozen box office-topping movies to its credit, Pixar probably doesn't need to worry about building buzz for its releases -- particularly ones with built-in audiences, like, say, the Monsters, Inc. sequel. Carell. Carrey. Buscemi. Magic. Mullets. Not enough trailers feature a shot of a dove flying out of someone's mouth. Into the breach steps the new trailer for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, the upcoming comedy about a pair of lifelong magician pals (Steves Carell and Buscemi) whose livelihood is threatened by the ascension of a ruthless new illusionist (Jim Carrey).
