Goosebumps 2 has begun casting with four young actors now being signed to the film. The Goosebumps book series by R.L. Stine has been around since the summer of 1992 with the publication of Welcome to Dead House. Stine has published dozens of novels in the series, which are usually unconnected, but occasionally there were sequels. The collection of horror stories for children was eventually made into a television show, and even spawned multiple spin-off books. Then, in 2015, a live action movie released. The Goosebumps movie was quite successful, making almost twice its budget back.

Looks like Masters of the Universe will need a new master.
Sony Pictures is on the hunt for a new Masters of the Universe director after talks with David S. Goyer fell through. Goyer will stay on as executive producer and screenwriter.
Goyer had been in talks with Sony to direct Masters of the Universe since December, but was forced to drop out of the running due to other commitments, Variety reports.
The Batman v Superman writer originally came on board the project as the screenwriter in April.
