Avatar, the highest grossing movie of all time ($2.78 billion), is getting not only two, but three sequels, Deadline has learned. All three will go into production at the same time next year. Boom!

'Savages' Co-Writer Shane Salerno Options Edgar-Winning 'The Lock Artist' – EXCLUSIVE: Shane Salerno, who teamed with Oliver Stone and Don Winslow to adapt Winslow’s novel Savages, has acquired film rights to the Steve Hamilton novel The Lock Artist. The story centers on two pals from Laguna Beach who share the same girlfriend and a thriving business growing and distributing the best-quality pot on the planet. When they resist being muscled by a Mexican drug cartel, the girl is kidnapped and the ransom is every cent they've made for the last five years.

Fantastic Voyage

A remake of the 1966 movie of the same name, "Fantastic Voyage" is about a group of scientists who injects themselves into the body of an ill colleague. Shawn Levy is attached to direct the remake. James Cameron said the remake will be more of a love story so perhaps the one who is ill is the wife/SO of one of the scientists?
