Shailene Woodley News

Should Your Kids See 'The Divergent Series: Allegiant'? The Divergent series has always been about the dangers of labeling people. Each film is a heady exploration of political and scientific ethics dressed up as an action-romance. At the conclusion of the last film, Insurgent, Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley), her boyfriend, Four, and his mother, Evelyn, led a rebel army to destroy the factions that divided dystopian Chicago. In Allegiant, the latest installment in theaters now, Tris, Four and their friends discover the world outside Chicago, which...Read MoreRead Comments

Film Review: 'The Divergent Series: Insurgent' Insurgent is a frustrating film. Not because of its flaws, but because of its strengths. What are these strengths I speak of? Namely, the cast. Shailene Woodley is a sizable talent. Kate Winslet's trophy case is probably over-flowing. Theo James brings real life to a fairly blandly-written character. Miles Teller is magnetic. You've also got actors like Naomi Watts, Mekhi Phifer, Octavia Spencer, and Ray Stevenson in there. These people can all bring the goods.

Theo James Really Wanted To Take His Pants Off While Filming ‘Insurgent’ Sex Scenes Theo James finally lifted the veil on his most embarrassing Insurgent moment, which happened while he was filming a sex scene with co-star Shailene Woodley.

So I saw the new Shailene Woodley movie, the one with Miles Teller. No, that’s “The Spectacular Now.” This one has Ansel Elgort. Uh, no, you’re thinking of “The Fault in Our Stars.” This is the one based on the popular YA novels about the special girl who fights back against a totalitarian government. Not “The Hunger Games,” no; this is the one where everyone’s in a walled city.

If you're a fan of watching people run, jump, or run and THEN jump, then you'll probably want to catch what one can only assume is the final trailer for INSURGENT. Shailene Woodley returns in the sequel to DIVERGENT, which will find her character on the run, hunted by the lovely Kate Winslet and lots of crumbling buildings. Also, a guy jumps in front of a train. Not sure if that does anything for you,... Read More...
