Captain America
Ever since Marvel made the surprising announcement that Captain America 3 would be opening against the Man of Steel sequel on May 16, 2016, we've been wondering how long this head-to-head superhero action might last -- if Marvel was trying to muscle Warner Bros. into blinking first, or if we were really going to witness two blockbuster sequels duking it out for the top of the box office during a shared opening weekend.

Jerry Bruckheimer Gives Update on 'Bad Boys 3' and 'National Treasure 3' – Last week, producer Jerry Bruckheimer offered updates on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Beverly Hills Cop 4, but those are just two of his highly-anticipated projects that are currently in development. Jonah Jameson For The Next Spider-Man Movie – During a recent Google Hangout event, which you can watch in its full, pre-recorded glory below and which gets off to a very awkward beginning, Marc Webb came around to the subject of J. The Goonies
Richard Donner hasn't touched a camera since 2006's 16 Blocks and the movies he directed before that didn't perform well at the box office, so for all intents and purposes, he's been in involuntary retirement. So what does Donner do when everyone has written him off? Try to push for a sequel to a beloved movie he had directed way back when.

Orci Wants to Direct Star Trek 3 – Word has come today that longtime writing-producing partners Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman are splitting up to pursue separate feature film careers. And for Orci, that means gunning for the center seat on Star Trek 3 as director. Variety has the news on the break-up, which is said to be amicable and mainly to do with the fact that the pair are both looking to direct their own films now. 13 hours 19 min ago via theothersenhman

Powerhouse Duo Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci Split Up, Orci Wants To Direct 'Star Trek 3' – For better (and definitely for worse), producing/writing duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have been behind some of the biggest blockbusters of the last decade or so. "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Star Trek" franchises are among their biggest accomplishments, and "Now You See Me" was a massive hit. But the pair are now breaking up, cinematically speaking, each pursuing their own movie gigs (though they are keeping their lucrative TV business partnership going).
