Bad Boys 3 and National Treasure 3 have been in development for quite some time now, and it sounds like we have to wait longer still for those sequels. Collider is able to catch up with producer Jerry Bruckheimer at WonderCon and asks him about those two projects. On Bad Boys 3, Bruckheimer says the script is being worked on, but the timing have been lousy.

Ever since Marvel made the surprising announcement that Captain America 3 would be opening against the Man of Steel sequel on May 16, 2016, we've been wondering how long this head-to-head superhero action might last -- if Marvel was trying to muscle Warner Bros. into blinking first, or if we were really going to witness two blockbuster sequels duking it out for the top of the box office during a shared opening weekend.
movieweb.com – Last week, producer Jerry Bruckheimer offered updates on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Beverly Hills Cop 4, but those are just two of his highly-anticipated projects that are currently in development. bleedingcool.com – During a recent Google Hangout event, which you can watch in its full, pre-recorded glory below and which gets off to a very awkward beginning, Marc Webb came around to the subject of J. I don’t want to spoil too much about The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but I think I can say that Jameson is a character in the film… but that the character still needs to be cast. 12 hours 33 min ago via jetli

Richard Donner hasn't touched a camera since 2006's 16 Blocks and the movies he directed before that didn't perform well at the box office, so for all intents and purposes, he's been in involuntary retirement. And for Orci, that means gunning for the center seat on Star Trek 3 as director. Variety has the news on the break-up, which is said to be amicable and mainly to do with the fact that the pair are both looking to direct their own films now. 13 hours 19 min ago via theothersenhman
fb.indiewire.com – For better (and definitely for worse), producing/writing duo Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have been behind some of the biggest blockbusters of the last decade or so. "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Star Trek" franchises are among their biggest accomplishments, and "Now You See Me" was a massive hit. But the pair are now breaking up, cinematically speaking, each pursuing their own movie gigs (though they are keeping their lucrative TV business partnership going). 14 hours 49 min ago via theothersenhman
feedproxy.google.com – By now you’ve probably read a bit about plans for May 6, 2016. Marvel Studios first claimed the release date for an unspecified film, only to be challenged when Warner Bros. moved Batman vs. Superman to the same date. Kevin Feige said Marvel wouldn’t budge and officially named Captain America 3 as the film opening that day. 16 hours 49 min ago via brucelee
