Sam Rockwell News
Focus World has acquired U.S. rights to Paco Cabezas’ romantic action comedy “Mr. Right,” which stars Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell. The movie will make its world premiere as the Closing Night Gala Presentation at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Focus World will release the film theatrically and on demand on a date to be determined. Written and executive produced by Max Landis, the film stars Rockwell and Kendrick as two people who are crazy about each other — and maybe just plain crazy.
Two of my favorite actors today happen to be Sam Rockwell and Rosemarie DeWitt. And frankly, they give everything they do some serious credibility. So when you place them in the roles of the terrorized parents in POLTERGEIST, it already makes you care about the characters more. While the original film will always be one of my all-time favorites, I was surprised at how much fun I had with this new film and much... Read More...

20th Century Fox has made some changes to its summer schedule, moving its Poltergeist remake up by two months while also delaying the Paul Feig/Melissa McCarthy comedy Spy and the young-adult adaptation Paper Towns.
Poltergeist will now arrive on May 22 while Spy has moved from that date to a June 5 slot. Paper Towns, which is based on The Fault in Our Stars author John Green’s book of the same name, moves to July 24.
That means Poltergeist, which stars Sam Rockwell and Jared Harris, will face off against Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof's George Clooney-starring Tomorrowland.
