If there's a Man of Steel prequel, Russell Crowe says he's open to playing Superman's father Jor-El again. However, he's tired of all the questions about it and wants people know exactly what to do with those. "A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel, if that's something you feel strongly about let @Legendary pictures know your thoughts," Crowe wrote on Twitter (via IGN).

Crowe Keen on Man of Steel Prequel – Seems Russell Crowe is in the mood to return to Krypton. Writing on Twitter, the Man of Steel star responded to questions about whether or not he’d fancy reprising his role as Jor-El. “A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel” he wrote. 6 years 38 weeks ago via jetli

New Character Pics Arrive from Aronofsky's NOAH!!! – Hey guys! Horrorella here... New promo images have been released from Darren Aronofsky's upcoming biblical epic, NOAH. The film is set to open in March, but we really haven't seen much in the way of promotional materials until now. The pictures released by The Film Stage are several character images, and while they don't offer a ton of clues into the greater look and tone of the film (though I am loving the look they came up with for Emma Watson), it's cool to see a bit of what Aronofsky might be going for on this one. 6 years 40 weeks ago via jetli

Man of Steel
"Tell me, how do you make a superman?" asks singer/songwriter Bob Schneider in the opening line of his song "Flowerparts." He then proceeds to run off a list of the expected ingredients -- "Courage and a steady hand / Conviction and a damn good attitude / Spiritual and moral fortitude" -- before reversing course and reminding the listener of what really makes a man super:

Man of Steel
We remain perpetually annoyed by the trailers-upon-trailers that every major movie seems to get these days, and also, far be it from this site to ever besmirch anything Terence Stamp has ever done on camera. That being said, the new (and presumably final) Man of Steel promo clip suggests a couple of things:

Man of Steel
He's a brilliant visual stylist, but the knock on Zack Snyder as a director is that he too often neglects real storytelling in favor of pretty pictures. The latest Man of Steel trailer, however, suggests he may have made a quantum leap as a filmmaker.

Man of Steel
Well, he doesn't come out and say "Kneel before Zod." But General Zod (Michael Shannon) still has a pretty strongly worded message to deliver in this new promotional video for Warner Bros.' Man of Steel. Shrouded in a haze of digital gibberish that suggests Kryptonian video broadcasting technology didn't have much of a chance to evolve before the planet exploded, Zod keeps things short here, beginning with a simple "My name is General Zod" before sending things in an ominous direction.

Man of Steel
Warner Bros. is entering the home stretch between now and Man of Steel -- with just a few weeks standing between filmgoers and Superman's long-planned return on June 14, it's time to make or break blockbuster-level interest in the big guy's latest reboot.

In Slate’s Spoiler Special guest David Haglund qualifies his boy-love for the musical Les Mis as a response to protagonist Jean Valjean’s superhero like qualities: he’s super-strong, highly principled and leads a double life. He’s like the smart boy’s un-caped crusader in the hard times of the French Revolution.

Ray Winstone sheds some more detail on the madness of Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah' – Darren Aronofsky raised eyebrows when he ventured to make a film about the Biblical story of Noah's Ark. But, as his cast and crew came together and images teasing the scope of the project, the naysayers began to jump on board. One of those naysayers was actor Ray Winstone. In an interview with Crave Online, Winstone shed some new details on the movie including his initial reluctance regarding the project:... 7 years 5 weeks ago via jackiechan
