It seems hard to believe that anyone actually wants a contemporized version of the classic '80s Cold War action drama WarGames, but don't tell that to the people running MGM -- they've been hammering away on development of a remake for some time now, and it looks like they're inching closer to fulfilling their dream of a WarGames without Matthew Broderick, Dabney Coleman, Ally Sheedy, or the Soviet Union.
