Take the Character? – Today, Warner Bros. announced a huge slate of DC superhero movies, and among them was a reboot of Green Lantern set for 2020. The 2010 adaptation was a failure, and one that Warner Bros. would clearly like to forget. It was an opportunity to not only launch a new franchise, but also stand apart from anything else in the superhero marketplace by introducing cosmic elements.

I Am Legend
Since Will Smith is unwilling to do a followup to his 2007 sci-fi thriller I Am Legend, Warner Bros. is moving on without him. According to Deadline, the studio is re-purposing Gary Graham's script A Garden at the End of the World, which is described as a sci-fi version of John Wayne's The Searchers, to serve as a reboot of the movie.

I Know What You Did Last Summer
Because it's been nearly a decade since the last cheapo direct-to-video I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel -- and because America just can't get enough of nubile young things in white tank tops being pursued by homicidal maniacs -- Sony has apparently hit the reboot button on the formerly Jennifer Love Hewitt-led franchise, snaring the creative team behind this year's horror hit Oculus to re-adapt the 1973 Lois Duncan book that started it all.

‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ In Season Again At Sony – EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures is rebooting I Know What You Did Last Summer, the 1997 horror flick that ended up grossing $125M worldwide and spawned a sequel the following year. Both starred Jennifer Love Hewitt. This one is being written and produced by Oculus c0-writer/director Mike Flanagan adapting the 1973 Lois Duncan book again and producing along with Neal Moritz who produced the original. 6 years 29 weeks ago via donnieyen

Read the full article on AICN Remember Theo James' David in UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING? …yeah, I didn't see it either. I actually sort of hate this series. Apparently, David was sidekick to Kate Beckinsale's Selina in that fourth Vampire/Lycan showdown, and will step up as the lead of the next film in the franchise.
