Paul Walker’s Emotional ‘Furious 7’ Tribute Leaks Online If seeing how “Furious 7” would handle the death of star Paul Walker is one of the biggest selling points of the movie, then Universal probably isn’t happy that the ending of the film has leaked online. A number of videos that appear to have been shot inside a theater have popped up on YouTube since the latest installment of the blockbuster franchise premiered at the box office. Fortunately for the studio, the movie is already a hit after scoring $384 million worldwide during its opening weekend — a global haul nearly double (48 percent) of that of “Fast and Furious 6.”

First things first: Paul Walker would be proud of this. It’s an action franchise that will please its huge and ever-growing fanbase. He gets to go two rounds with Thai martial arts star Tony Jaa and gets the last laugh. Not a bad way to go. Overall, Walker’s scenes are quite seamless.

Fast & Furious 7 Release Date Speeds Forward Universal Pictures has decided to move the Fast & Furious 7 release date one last time, opting to bring the movie to the masses on April 3, 2015. The change means the film will now hit screens a week sooner than anticipated, as it was originally planned for release on April 10. The film was originally slated to open July 11, 2014, but production was put on indefinite hiatus following the death of star Paul Walker. Paul Walker’s last completed film “Brick Mansions” is a remake of “District B13,” a French actioner written and produced by Luc Besson and starring Parkour founder David Bell, both of whom return with the same duties for the American version. Walker takes over the sidekick role from Cyril Raffaelli, a martial artist who also choreographed the action sequences for the original.
