Warner Bros. taketh away, bumping 300: Rise of an Empire to next March from its original August release date, but they also giveth when they can -- and as proof, here's Rise of an Empire's first trailer, which gives epic action fans a taste of the swords and sandals they've been craving.

The events of the movie occur at the same time as those in Snyder's "300".Based on Frank Miller’s latest graphic novel Xerxes, and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster “300,” this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war.
