Review: 'Dark Places' Starring Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Christina Hendricks, Tye Sheridan & Chloe Grace Moretz Everyone enjoys a brief opening paragraph, so why don't we spend it listing all the things that "Dark Places," from director Gilles Paquet-Brenner ("Sarah's Key"), gets right. Its cast is undoubtedly committed, particularly a convincingly grimy Charlize Theron, and an enjoyably off-the-leash Chloe Grace Moretz, though it feels like they signed on to different films, and continued under that misapprehension all the way through shooting. Christina Hendricks is decent in a frumpy role that is sold from under her by the film's last-act twists.

‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Will Premiere at Cannes; New TV Spot The whole world’s about to go mad (again) as Tom Hardy takes up the title role of George Miller’s long-awaited follow-up to his famous post-apocalyptic action series, Mad Max: Fury Road. Also starring Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and Hugh Keays-Byrne (who played Toecutter in the original Mad Max), the film is set in a dystopian future where key resources have dried up and those left alive face an everyday struggle for survival. From what we’ve heard, Mad Max: Fury Road is light on dialogue and heavy on crazy stunts, car chases and explosions.

Organizers have announced that the Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult starring film will screen Out Of Competition on May 14th, one day before it opens worldwide.

As well as giving us another look at Hardy in action, the new images also introduce Nicholas Hoult's character Nux, a shaven-headed, white-faced horror who looks barely recognisable from good old Hank McCoy. There's also a glimpse of Charlize Theron's steely Furiosa, as well as a great shot of some of the assembled desert vehicles tearing across the sandy landscape.
