Assassin's Creed anime series in development from Castlevania producer Although ASSASSIN'S CREED may not have been the video-game movie saviour which we were hoping it would be, we haven't seen the last of the Ubisoft franchise, except this time it will be in the form of an anime series from Adi Shankar, producer of Netflix's upcoming Castlevania series. Shankar confirmed the news himself on Facebook, but unfortunately we don't where or... Read More...

The “Star Wars” prequel starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen and Riz Ahmed is now expected to end its second weekend with nearly $140 million over the six-day holiday. As if to solidify its projected se

Assassin's Creed is the best film adaptation of a video game we've ever seen. Granted, that's not exactly a huge wall to scale. The world of video games adapted to the big screen has had more valleys than peaks, and problematic films like Silent Hill and Resident Evil are considered the best this brand of movie making has to offer. Cult status has been kind to movies like Super Mario Bros. and Mortal Kombat in recent years, but even those fall into the category of fun rather than good. Leave it to a filmmaker like Justin Kurzel (of Snowtown and Macbeth) to show how it's done.

20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed that gives us a better understanding of what made Cal Lynch (Michael Fassbender) who he is. The tragedy that put him on the path of revenge and how he’s always been tied to his ancestral lineage. We saw in a previous trailer how Rikkin (Jeremy Irons) tried to use the blade killer Cal’s mother as a motivator… will he get revenge on his father? The movie is in theaters now. The Tragedy Of Cal Lynch – New Assassin’s Creed Trailer

Review: ASSASSIN'S CREED Dies a Bloodless Death When it comes to movies that are based on video games, so many of them seem to be about “The One”. Yet, when it comes to said movies actually being any good, there's been “No One.” Beautifully photographed, immaculately designed, and boasting a stunningly lofty cast, this long-in-coming adaptation of the prolific game series Assassin's Creed soars from the gate with tremendous promise. Might this be the one…?
