Muppets Most Wanted News

Nicholas Stoller shares his ideas for a third Muppets movie – While MUPPETS MOST WANTED didn't quite light up the box office the way THE MUPPETS did a couple of years ago, Disney is likely going to move forward with a third film. The question is whether Nicholas Stoller and James Bobin will return to script and helm the further adventures of Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, and the rest of the gang. 8 years 1 week ago via brucelee

5:02 PM 3/30/2014 by Logan Falk
Bad puns notwithstanding, the box office was very good to one of our new releases, which earned a goodly amount above its predicted gross range. The other films, holdouts and new releases alike, did okay as well, but Noah most definitely won the day.

Muppets Most Wanted
This weekend sees the debut of two big-name releases in theaters, hopefully providing a relief form the seemingly endless stream of mediocre releases that have been plaguing the box office the past few weeks. Looking at the critics’ reviews, one of these releases might deliver, while the other follows the lackluster trend.

Critics Consensus: Divergent Disappoints – This week at the movies, we've got individuality under attack (Divergent, starring Shailene Woodley and Kate Winslet) and supportive mothers (Muppets Most Wanted, starring Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey). He could wait in line at Starbucks without incident. But with the success of The Muppets, that's all changed. Now it's common to see Walter talked about on the evening gossip shows. They all wonder who he's dating and if it's true that success hasn't gone to his head just yet. 8 years 19 weeks ago via theothersenhman

Kermit Talks New Musical Numbers, Becoming an Action Hero, Miss Piggy’s Diva Antics, and More on the Set of MUPPETS MOST WANTED – The fact is, Kermit has every reason to be standoffish. After all, he's been famous around the world since the 1970s, and no matter where he goes, people want to talk to him. And while that kind of popularity might make some of his colleagues difficult to be around (Miss Piggy), the thing about Kermit is no matter who you are or what you do, he treats you with the same respect and is always willing to talk.
