6:09 PM 3/9/2014 by Logan Falk
This weekend was very good to both of the new releases, despite the disparity in ratings (and quality, to be honest) between them—their projected earnings were generous to begin with, but they were able to make above even these relatively large predictions over the weekend (probably owing to the lackluster releases of the last couple weeks).
New in Theaters: '300: Rise of an Empire,' 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman'
8:12 PM 3/7/2014 by Logan Falk
Rather than the overall cinematic disappointment of the two previous weekends, this batch of new releases offers something a little better—a mixed bag. There is one certified “fresh” release, so that’s something, at least.
