Todd Spence, who has previously crafted blooper reel credits for 12 Years a Slave, inserted the legendary fat-guy-in-a-little-coat comedian into that stomach churning trailer for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (the other movie out this weekend).

Wow. Just when I thought the franchise couldn’t get any higher than the 93% score that the Brad Bird directed “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol” received on Rotten Tomatoes, the soon-to-be-released fifth outing is sitting on 97%. It’s still early, and there are only 30 reviews so far. Nonetheless, “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation” is off to a fantastic start. Directing Tom Cruise this time around is Christopher McQuarrie, a screenwriter who has collaborated with the action star in “Edge of Tomorrow,” “Jack Reacher,” and “Valkyrie.”

One of the best things about the Mission: Impossible series — and many Tom Cruise action films, actually — is how dedicated Cruise is to performing as many of his stunts as possible.
