Michael Green Re-Writing The Latest Wolverine Film James Mangold may now direct it nextThough it looked like director James Mangold would focus his attention on book adaptation The Deep Blue Good-By before heading back into comic book territory for another Wolverine film, events have conspired to take that previous project out of contention for now. So it appears he’ll be fully turning his attention to Hugh Jackman’s Logan, and will definitely need a script for the film.

First he returned to the Indiana Jones franchise, then he was wooed back to the Star Wars saga. Next, it looks like Harrison Ford could reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the upcoming Blade Runner sequel -- if that's what he wants, anyway. The studio behind the project, Alcon Entertainment, is certainly interested in retaining his services.

Blade Runner 2 is not just a press release any longer because a writer has been found for the sequel, TheWrap has learned. Green Lantern's Michael Green is said to be in talks to write Blade Runner 2, which will take place a couple years after the events in the 1982 movie, according to TheWrap's sources.

Steven Spielberg seems to be all over the place with his directorial docket lately -- first we hear he's tabling Robopocalypse, now comes word that he's stepping away from the Biblical epic Gods and Kings in order to focus on...Robopocalypse. We're starting to read all these reports with an arched eyebrow, but if Spielberg's really letting go of Gods and Kings, at least we have an interesting rumored replacement:
