According to The Hollywood Reporter, Resident Evil: Retribution's Li Bingbing is boarding Michael Bay's Transformers 4 in an unspecified role. She's the first Chinese actor announced for the movie.

A few weeks ago, we reported that Transformers 4 would be taking a different route to fill its Chinese speaking roles in the form of a reality competition series titled "Transformers 4 Chinese Actor Talent Search." The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that casting has begun for the series and anywhere from 50,000 to 80,000 Chinese actors are expected to audition.
