Matthew Vaughn News

Matthew Vaughn to Produce Mark Millar’s ‘Superior’ Comic Book Movie – Although comic book writer Mark Millar has contributed many times to long-running series about more traditional superheroes like The Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men, he’s probably better known by mainstream audiences for putting a spin on the traditional comic book movie in Kick-Ass, the adaptation of his graphic novel about an average teenage boy who one day decides to put on a costume and become a superhero. 8 years 24 weeks ago via jackiechan

Matthew Vaughn says The Fantastic Four will be dark and not a comedy – Now that the cast has been revealed, we need some details about the movie. Well, this is interesting. X-Men Days of Future Past
Clearly, director Bryan Singer doesn't care about keeping the plot of X-Men: Days of Future Past under wraps -- and given that most of the film's events are probably being lifted out of the well-known comic arc with which it shares its name, that makes a certain amount of sense.
