John Slattery and Liam Neeson Also Part of Seth MacFarlane's 'Ted 2' Briefly: With production on Seth MacFarlane's comedy sequel Ted 2 shooting in Boston right now, some small casting tidbits and other details have been trickling online. Morgan Freeman has already been revealed to have a pivotal role as a civil rights lawyer helping Ted with some legal troubles, and Mark Wahlberg revealed his Flash Gordon motorcycle. And now we have word from MacFarlane himself that his A Million Ways to Die in the West star Liam Neeson will have a small role in the film, and EW has learned that "Mad Men" star John Slattery is also involved somehow, likely in cameo roles.

Anyone who's been paying even the slightest bit of attention to Family Guy over the last 11 seasons knows that Seth MacFarlane seems to have a fairly incredible knack for getting surprising people to take part in his funny games -- and now we can add Morgan Freeman to that list, because Freeman has apparently just signed on for a role in Ted 2.
