Director Mark Andrews Talks Replacing Brenda Chapman On 'Brave,' The Future Of 'John Carter' & More – It was the best of times, it was the worst of times – Mark Andrews, who makes his feature directorial debut this weekend on Pixar's heavily hyped medieval girl power romp "Brave" (taking duties over for Brenda Chapman, who parted ways with the film – more on that in a minute) was also an assistant director and co-writer on "John Carter," Disney's massively budgeted sci-fi spectacle that crashed and burned like an out-of-control Martian spaceship. 8 years 22 weeks ago via jackiechan

Yes, The Pizza Planet Truck Is In Brave, And That’s Not All

Pizza Truck – There are lots of Pixar traditions, from the regular casting of John Ratzenberger to the repeated appearance of A113, the number of the classroom where John Lasseter studied at CalArts. Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In “Brave,” a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

New Stills From Pixar's 'Brave' – Another look at the Scottish tale. Pixar's Brave opens next August 17 in the UK, but the tiny drips and drops of teasers about the film are beginning to emerge from cracks in the Pixar strongroom, and here are two new exclusive stills from the already-gorgeous-looking, hopefully-awesome Highland epic. Set in unspecified ancient times and boasting an almost entirely Scottish voice cast, this is looking as sweet as shortbread. 9 years 2 weeks ago via brucelee
