Fantastic Fest Hit "Spring" Introduces A Brand New Movie Monster

Spring was a hit at Fantastic Fest, winning an acting award for Lou Taylor Pucci. After festival screenings, Drafthouse Films announced it would distribute the film next year. The film stars Pucci as a man traveling in Italy who falls in love with a local girl (Nadia Hilker), who keeps her transformations hidden from him.

According to the Evil Dead poster, the movie will be the most terrifying film we'll ever experience. Way to ratchet up the expectation. Unfortunately, that expectation will be left unfulfilled because it looks like the movie is more disturbing than terrifying. Give the new red band trailer a gander and judge for yourself. Evil Dead is a remake of Sam Raimi's 1981 low budget horror movie The Evil Dead, starring Bruce Campbell as Ash, who, along with his cabin mates, tries to fight off a demonic entity.
