Plenty of filmmakers have been accused of destroying people’s childhoods, but Syfy is taking that concept to a new level with The Banana Splits Movie. The furry costumed animals of the ’60s live-action Hanna-Barbera series are coming back with a vengeance — literally. No longer happy-go-lucky children’s performers, the furry foursome Fleegle the Beagle, Bingo the Gorilla, Drooper the Lion, and Snorky the Elephant are now homicidal monsters ready to wreak havoc.

Third time’s the charm? DC’s long-gestating project about the alien mercenary could finally happen.
The comic book movie train just keeps chugging along. But not all cinematic universes operate as well-oiled machines — at least not in the case of DC. Warner Bros.’ rapid shift away from Zack Snyder’s DC Extended Universe footprint is almost amusing and maybe a little sad for some.

There is once again room for Lobo. The film is is back in development — perhaps not the most shocking news as the project has been on-and-off for quite some time and the most likely candidate as a quick answer to Deadpool. According to The Wrap, Wonder Woman screenwriter Jason Fuchs will write the film.
The site also indicates Fuchs will start from scratch in lieu of continuing the work of the previously attached director Brad Peyton and screenwriter Don Payne.
The eventual film will center on DC Comics‘ well-known intergalactic bounty hunter.
