Warner Bros. Reveals Massive Plans for DC, 'Harry Potter,' Lego Franchises

We knew Warner Bros. execs had big things in store for fans of its DC properties, as well as visions of a new franchise for its Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but the studio dropped some major news regarding scheduling for those titles -- as well as its plans for more Lego movies -- during a shareholders meeting today.


Warner Bros. Announces Movie Expansion with Lego, J.K. Rowling, DC Comics Films – Warner Bros. unveiled its movie and television strategy Wednesday paced by three Lego films, three movies based on J.K. Rowling wizard stories and 10 DC Entertainment-branded projects. LEGO BATMAN Movie Fast Tracked at WB; Will Arnett Returns to Voice – It was only matter of time, but this is still mostly good news to me. After the phenomenal success of The LEGO Movie (and a delay in production on The LEGO Movie 2) Warner Bros. is fast-tracking a spinoff in the form of a LEGO Batman movie.
