Sony Pictures Classics announced today that it will release Martha Stephens & Aaron Katzs Land Ho! on July 11 in New York and Los Angeles, followed by openings nationwide. Additionally, Land Ho! will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in April and the Los Angeles Film Festival in June. The film made its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired worldwide rights to Martha Stephens and Aaron Katz’s bawdy road trip comedy “Land Ho!” The film premiered Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival and SPC plans to release the picture nationwide later this year. The film is produced by Mynette Louie, Sara Murphy, and Christina Jennings, and executive produced by David Gordon Green, and Julie Parker Benello, Dan Cogan, Geralyn Dreyfous, and Wendy Ettinger of Gamechanger Films.
