Kurt Russell Confirms 'The Hateful Eight' to Shoot Early Next Year

feedproxy.google.com – Back in May it was reported that Quentin Tarantino might be getting The Hateful Eight together in front of a camera much sooner than he lamented after his original screenplay leaked back in January. It seems the live-read at LACMA in April really got him all worked up about making the film, and the last rumor we heard was that Tarantino was rewriting the script and hoping to begin production in November with the same case from the script-reading event. 7 years 51 weeks ago via brucelee

For a little while there, it looked like Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight might end up being the first movie to be shelved due to a website-induced temper tantrum -- but now that Tarantino's had a few months to let go of the rage he felt when Gawker linked to a leaked version of the script, it looks like the project is a go after all.

Vin Diesel
One of the fun (and truly unexpected) things about watching the Fast & Furious franchise evolve from gearhead guilty pleasure into reliable heist-thriller blockbuster machine has been the way the movies have developed a real dramatic arc, with multiple characters growing and evolving (sort of?) over the various sequels. If Fast star Vin Diesel is to be believed, the next cast member to get the treatment will be new addition Kurt Russell.
