There are a million television channels, radio is dying, and nobody reads books, which leaves movies as pretty much the last thing going in terms of mass-media entertainment that can still claim anything approaching consensus success. But just as digital distribution has diced up the landscape for artists in other disciplines, it's changing the game for film, too -- and Veronica Mars is early proof.

Kristen Bell says 'I'm recording 'Frozen 2' in my bedroom already' – Kristen Bell is one of the stars of the breakout phenomenon 'Frozen,' and when we spoke to her about her new film 'Veronica Mars,' we couldn't resist asking about the possibility of a sequel to the Disney smash hit. 7 years 46 weeks ago via jackiechan

Kristen Bell on Her 'Veronica Mars' Homecoming, Tasering the Paparazzi, and Being the Next Bill Shatner – Kristen Bell is back as Veronica Mars, this time playing the small-town detective on the big screen. Veronica Mars' Kristen Bell And Jason Dohring Show Marshmallows And Love On EW's New Cover – Is it me or does Kristen Bell's smile border on sarcastic on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's latest issue? And I mean sarcastic in a good way. Sarcastic in a persnickety teen-detective that's not technically a teen or a detective anymore kind of way. Next to Bell is Jason Dohring, who is aggressively chomping down on a marshmallow, which may be symbolic of his character's on-again-off-again romance with the title character of the beloved UPN/CW series and soon-to-be movie. 7 years 49 weeks ago via jackiechan

The Mouse House (in its infinite wisdom) is releasing a sing-along version of the Disney film Frozen to over 1,000 theaters nationwide on January 31. Apparently the high volume of YouTubed fans singing “Let it Go” spurred Disney’s distribution execs to invent a magical dancing snowflake that bounces, karaoke-style, above the lyrics (located in the lower third of the screen).
