Joss Whedon News

As they're quite fond of demonstrating, Marvel is the type of studio that enjoys keeping secrets until sharing them will create the maximum impact, so we can probably count on not hearing anything definitive about the inevitable Avengers 3 for many, many months to come. Unless, that is, screenwriter Drew Pearce just accidentally let a small (but perhaps crucial) bit of info slip.
joblo.com – Many assume Joss Whedon will be back to direct THE AVENGERS 3, but there's no guarantee he will return for another film with the superhero team. There's a very good chance Whedon will helm THE AVENGERS 3, however as far as we know, he hasn't signed a deal for a third film yet. 1 week 5 days ago via donnieyen
darkhorizons.com – Filming has begun in Johannesburg on Marvel's upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron". This first leg of shooting will take place in the South African city for the next two weeks ahead of further location shoots in northern Italy and South Korea. Major traffic disruptions are expected for the next two weeks. 3 weeks 5 days ago via jetli
screenrant.com – Joss Whedon’s “brother-sister” act of new characters Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch aren’t the only super-powered roster additions for The Avengers: Age of Ultron as we learned yesterday. The returning heroes from the first team-up will also be joined by the voice (and body this time) of Paul Bettany who will play the android Avenger known as Vision – a character who shares a lot of history with the titular antagonist Ultron in the comics, not to mention his romantic relationship with Scarlet Witch. 4 weeks 1 day ago via brucelee

Before we get into the details here, first things first: Number One, this is a rumor (for now) that started in the U.K. tabloids, so take it with a grain of salt. Number Two, mild potential spoilers lie ahead, so beware.
cinemablend.com – Joss Whedon’s Avengers sequel is turning into an international affair. Producers are scouting a massive Italian castle (which I speculate could be the evil lair of Baron Von Strucker and the forces of HYDRA). Now a new country claims that Age of Ultron will set up shop, at least for a little while. 5 weeks 3 days ago via jackiechan

What, you thought one villain was enough for The Avengers: Age of Ultron? Pshaw. He might be the baddie who's bad enough for the sequel's title, but ol' Ultron (voiced by James Spader) will have to share the shadows with at least one other villain -- and we've just learned that he'll be played by Thomas Kretschmann.
joblo.com – Let's take a quick poll: how many of you saw the word "dark" in the headline and groaned and/or rolled your eyes? I know it's the popular word lately when talking about comic book movies, but Scarlett Johansson has some very nice things to say about Joss Whedon's script for THE AVENGERS: 7 weeks 4 days ago via theothersenhman
latino-review.com – You didn’t think I would let the year come to an end without bagging one more major kill from my pals over at Marvel now did you? That is not my style. Championships are won in the 4th quarter. Anyway, now that Marvel found their Ant-Man in Paul Rudd (which was the worst kept secret in the town by the way), um, what is going on with their other big movie Avengers 2: 11 weeks 1 day ago via brucelee
