Robocop opened a couple weeks ago in Asia to take advantage of the Chinese New Year holidays and took in a solid $5.5M from three small territories. I can see why after a press screening. One of the key locations in the film is China, although I think Hollywood needs to think just a bit harder than rice paddies to represent the country.

latino-review.com – We haven’t heard much from the RoboCop remake coming in February 2014, at lest not since some less than positive script reviews surfaced. Now, however, we do have some new pics from the flick, which you can see right here. I’m in the camp that doesn’t really like the new suit, but I’m not going to totally condemn it until I see it in action. 1 year 37 weeks ago via theothersenhman
bleedingcool.com – The script for the new Robocop features several different looks for our lead character, aside from the not-yet-shot, pink-and-juicy human stylings of Joel Kinnaman. In a draft of the script that was doing the rounds in recent months, Robocop’s first suit is scrapped after a focus group deride it for looking like a toy from the 80s. 1 year 44 weeks ago via donnieyen
