Joel Kinnaman News

Review: 'Child 44' Starring Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Gary Oldman And Joel Kinnaman On paper, "Child 44" seems like it would not be just a great film, but perhaps end up being one of the very best films of the year. It stars the wonderful Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Noomi Rapace and Joel Kinnaman, working from a script by Richard Price (adapting a best-selling novel by Tom Rob Smith) and under the direction of buzzed-about Swedish director Daniel Espinosa. The plot is enticing, too: it's a based-on-a-true-story murder mystery that takes place in Stalinist Russia, a nation state so perfect that, at least politically, murder simply cannot exist.

When Taken 3 hit theaters, Warner Bros. was already pushing their next Liam Neeson outing with Run All Night. The studio even bumped up the release by a month because they pushed back Ron Howard's seafaring drama In the Heart of the Sea. And now if you're looking to see more of the action thriller that teams up Neeson with RoboCop remake star Joel Kinnaman as his son, a French trailer has arrived with plenty of new footage. Again, this doesn't look like anything special, especially since Neeson is just trying to keep his son and extended family safe.

Neeson, Harris And Kinnaman RUN ALL NIGHT In New Trailer It's getting to the point that you can't even tell what Liam Neeson movie you're talking about from the still images any more. A glower, a gun and a military style fatigue jacket? That could be ... well, that could be a LOT of titles. And here's another one to add to the list with the trailer releasing for the Jaume Collet-Serra directed hitman thriller Run All Night. Brooklyn mobster and prolific hit man Jimmy Conlon (Neeson), once known as The Gravedigger, has seen better days.

First images from Jaume Collet-Serra's Run All Night starring Liam Neeson The first trailer for RUN ALL NIGHT should be released sometime this week, but until then these first images from the mob thriller will have to do. RUN ALL NIGHT marks the third time Liam Neeson has worked with director Jaume Collet-Serra (UNKNOWN and NON-STOP) and the film also stars Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman, Vincent D'Onofrio, Common, Holt McCallany and Beau Knapp. Take a look: Official synopsis:... Robocop
This Valentine’s Day weekend boasts quite the array of new releases, most of them related in some way to the amorous mood of the holiday, be it risqué rom-com humor, century-spanning adventure, or classic star-crossed lovers. And then there’s Robocop.

Joel Kinnaman in "Robocop"
Robocop opened a couple weeks ago in Asia to take advantage of the Chinese New Year holidays and took in a solid $5.5M from three small territories. I can see why after a press screening. One of the key locations in the film is China, although I think Hollywood needs to think just a bit harder than rice paddies to represent the country.
