Review: 'Monsters University' Is a Masters' Program

It's exquisitely appropriate that Monsters University is set in a school, because anyone who's had the misfortune of moving up through the grades after an exceptional sibling can understand the frustration the folks at Pixar must have felt every time they've released a new movie during the post-Toy Story 3 era.

With over a dozen box office-topping movies to its credit, Pixar probably doesn't need to worry about building buzz for its releases -- particularly ones with built-in audiences, like, say, the Monsters, Inc. sequel. But to the profound relief of trailer enthusiasts everywhere, the studio's doing it anyway, which is why we've got a new (and presumably final) promotional clip for Monsters University.

John Goodman stars as the lovable James P. Sullivan (Sulley) and Billy Crystal as his wisecracking best friend, Mike Wazowski. Top scarer Sulley and his enthusiastic Scare Assistant Mike work at Monsters, Inc., the largest scream-processing factory in Monstropolis. The main power source of the monster world is the collected screams of human children.
