If you look at the top ten movies at the box office at Rotten Tomatoes’s homepage, you’ll notice that they’re all Rotten. The highest-rated is Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax” at 59%. The lowest is, of course, “A Thousand Words” at zero percent. That’s not a good sight if you’re a film lover.

“What if there’s no wrong number? Maybe it’s always the right number.” Comedy should not try to be too philosophical or try to create logic out of nothing, especially goof-ball comedies with Jason Segel as a slacker. The trailer looks entertaining but definitely not laugh-out-loud funny. More »
