James Marsh's eye for documentary storytelling is a welcome aspect to this biopic about one of the most recognizable scientists to have ever lived. Stephen Hawking is perhaps known more widely for his physical struggles, synthesized voice, and pop culture appearances than he is for his scientific work, but for many he embodies the brilliant scientist, albeit one who has overcome astonishing odds to survive a debilitating disease and continue to contribute to scientific discourse.

The Theory of Everything
Starring Eddie Redmayne (“Les Misérables”) and Felicity Jones (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”), this is the extraordinary story of one of the world’s greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge student Jane Wilde. Once a healthy, active young man, Hawking received an earth-shattering diagnosis at 21 years of age.
